Job Description

Shri Educare Limited invites smart energetic and creativeeducationists to be a part of the family. To provide effective dynamic and inspirational support to SEL and its schools so that they build effective systems and process. The purpose of this position will be To develop review and implement the curriculum of the Middle School for the International Program and to research & develop documentation and intellectual property for owned schools and SEL International Consultancy Projects.

Principal Accountabilities & Responsibilities

Activities for achieving OutcomesCurriculum Development
  • Research development and documentation of curriculum for various

Projects.

  • Coordinate with the quality checking resources to ensure that the curriculum is in line with the expectation.
  • Enriching the DP/Middle School curriculum for SEL as per the requirement and parameters set by SEL.
  • Enriching and developing DP/MiddleSchool workbooks to support the SEL International curriculum.
  • Collaborative learning and teaching sessions to strengthen teacher competency and confidence.
Customized training programmes / Training & Development.
  • Research preparation and conducting the programmes for staff of SEL DP/Middle
    schools.
  • Conduct of customized training programmes both Generic and Domain related for staff of SEL schools.
  • of teacher training and induction in schools.
  • Coordinate and conduct professional development sessions for the teaching staff.
  • Collate the training needs identified during lesson observations and interactions with the teaching faculty.
  • Lead/Colead LOs for all subjects for MYP/Grades 6 to 12 at schools (as per requirement).
  • Development and Implementation of Makerspace in schools as required.
  • Create domain related training modules to use at SEL Schools to strengthen pedagogy.
  • Implementation of programmes/projects like JAS etc. as per schools need.
Documentation of systems as per design brief
  • Ensure documentation of the required policies for SEL in line with the services offered as per design brief.
  • Implementation of Cambridge LS IGCSE MYP DP in schools as required.
  • Ensure customization and implementation of the policies in line with the requirements for each project.
  • Reviewing and enriching the existing policies (operations) offered to SEL Schools.
School Coordination
  • Coordinating with other SEL functions and with schools to provide quality service to SEL Schools.
  • Collating documents for record and reference.
  • Analysing and providing support in all areas/ processes as per the school requirement and need.
  • Contribute to Monthly meetings at SEL for all SEL schools for IP.
  • Add value and enrich student /teacher learning through explorative engagementand experiences.
  • Conduct demos and micro teaching sessions at schools to enhance and enrich teachers classroom transactions.
Create and maintain quality parameters
  • Ensure training for resources to meet the parameters.
  • Analyse and report the gaps in the system with respect to quality parameters.
  • Observing teaching sessions to monitor the implementation of Shri methodology in the SEL schools.
  • Empowering teachers to be able to impart Shri values and teaching methodology to students and new members of the school.
  • Creating and reviewing the year plan based on the vertical progression for Schools.
  • Ensure High Quality Teaching and Learning(HQTL) focusing on intellectual physical social and emotional needs of learners.
  • Conduct research and comparative analysis: 3rd party assessment services providers.

Other assignments

  • Supporting VP Operations in other assignments as may be assigned from time to time.
  • Coordinate attend and contribute to the meetings related toSchools of SEL.
  • Contribute in the Strategic Planning process.
  • Ensure timely documentation of Visit Reports Monthly Review PPTs etc. and monitor that all school related tasks and process is done on a regular basis.
  • Coordination and review of work with external consultants (if/as applicable).
  • Offer support in Domain of expertise (as per requirement).
Self Development
  • Participate in training programs organized by the office.
  • Upgrade existing skills to support the demands of the role.
  • Keep oneself informed on the latest pedagogy best practices and newtrends in the education domain.
  • Identify and participate in professional development opportunities.

  1. Align the school team with SELs ethos and philosophy.
  2. Liaise between Principal Promoter and SEL as cultural and regional diversities provide different mindsets and thought processes.
  3. As individual complex organizations the nature of support provided to each school is tailored requiring a dynamic approach as per their constant changing needs.
  4. To support the school in its own development so that it builds internal capacity and progress making it sustainable over time.
  5. To keep oneself abreast of contemporary best practices and techniques to enrich SELs existing curriculum and pedagogy.
  6. Manage travel plan logistics to accommodate school calendars.

Decision Making Boundaries

  1. Recommending the best to the school which is in line with the Shri philosophy.
  2. Share inputs in terms of training and development of school staff.
  3. Suggest best practices followed in TSEY/TSRS and other SEL schools.
  4. Decision making in areas related to creation of domain related documentation and intellectual property
  5. Decisions pertaining to finances of a school are not taken by the consultant.

  • Strong understanding of best practices in DP & Middleschool education
  • Clear understanding of pedagogic language and structure
  • Able to define pedagogy and create pedagogy based on research

  • Research collation and customization of data for a variety of DP & Middle School educationbased deliverables

Graduate Post Graduate B. Ed (From Reputed College).

Duration & nature of past experience required

(Minimal Required)

  • Minimum 6 years ofexperience with teachingDP and MYP in a school environment or Curriculum support for International Schools.
  • Profile Examiner Workshop Leader Evaluation Leader.
  • Last IB training should not be more than 3 years old.
Domain/Subject

English/Computer Science/Design Technology/Economics/Chemistry/Math (any subject except Biology & Physics).
