Job Description
Exciting role within the Project Finance space to join a growing team in Cape Town. The role will support the Financial Manager and business with various financial projects for the group and project companies. They are a long standing client of ours and the culture and environment are great! If you have recently completed your articles and planning to pursue your CA(SA) designation then you are who we looking for!
Responsibilities:
- Liaise with and resolve any issues with SARS
- Oversee general daily admin of project companies
- Review basic monthly bookkeeping management accounts and payroll for projects
- Review complex monthly bookkeeping management accounts and payroll for projects
- Review budget for projects and ensure accurate and timely upkeeping of records
- Assist with consolidations
- Review group company loan recons
- Review and present monthly management accounts
- Write up complex accounting records of clients
- Review analyse and interpret accounting records prepare financial statements (IFRS and IFRS for SMEs)
- Prepare tax returns (VAT Company Tax etc.
Requirements:
- Relevant tertiary qualification with articles (pursuing CA(SA) qualification n the future)
- Organised and detail orientated
- Able to gather large sums of information
- Strong problem solving and analysis skills
- Strong teamwork skills
