The Mainstay Suites in Fargo is looking for a dynamic experienced individual in hotels that wants a future in the hospitality industry.
ASSISTANT GENERAL MANAGER JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Key Responsibilities:
- Support the General Manager in overseeing hotel operations including front desk housekeeping food and beverage and maintenance
- Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue occupancy and guest satisfaction
- Lead and motivate a diverse team of department heads and staff members
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure high standards of quality cleanliness and maintenance
- Analyze financial reports identify areas for improvement and optimize expenses
- Foster strong relationships with guests vendors and local partners
- Assist in recruiting training and developing staff
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies safety protocols and regulatory requirements
Requirements:
- 3 years of hotel experience preferably as a Leader Trainer and/or Department Head
- Strong knowledge of hotel operations and customer service
- Excellent leadership communication and problemsolving skills
- Proficient in hotel management software
- Must have weekend availability. This position is structured for WednesdaySunday work weeks.
