About the role:

We are seeking a motivated Personal Care Worker to join the team in the Bendigoregion on a Permanent PartTimebasis. The candidates need to be committed to delivering high quality care for our aged care clients both in home and in the community.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Providing services in the clients house such as assistance with showering grooming toileting meal preparation and assistance with general household tasks.
• Assisting and encouraging independence with clients by taking them out into the community to complete tasks such as shopping or to attend appointments.
• Liaising with the care team regarding any concerns or feedback the client may have with Baptcares service to ensure we are meeting the needs of every client.
• Maintaining strict privacy and dignity with all information relating to Client care and promotes same with any other members of the team or contractors on site.

About you:

• Completed Certificate III in aged care or disability support or above.
• Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
• Hoist trained/medication endorsed
• Experience working within the Aged Care Sector or with Elderly people is advantageous.
• Current Australian Drivers license and access to a registered and vehicle with insurance.
• Available every Monday Wednesday and Friday mornings evenings
• Ability to meet and perform the inherent requirements of the role.
