You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe Enterprise Risk Governance and Strategic Initiatives (G&SI) Officer is responsible for overseeing various projects and initiatives within the Banks Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Program. This includes but is not limited to researching identifying and potentially implementing new programs and technologies to support the growth maturation and effectiveness of the Banks Enterprise Risk Program. This role will require collaboration with various ERM managers 1LOD Risk colleagues leaders within business units and Corporate Functions and the Chief Enterprise Risk Executive.
Additionally this role will oversee the Banks Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC) solution and will be responsible for researching and implementing additional or new modules that may complement the Banks Risk Program. The G&SI Officer will be expected to communicate with the Banks regulators specifically regarding the progress of action plans related to identified issues as well as providing project updates on various initiatives the Bank has undertaken.
As a primary point of contact for the Banks GRC solution this role will be responsible for Regulatory Change Management Policy Management and Enterprise Issues Management. The Regulatory Change Management function is supported by the Banks GRC solution; however communication and risk assessment followup are critical elements of this role.
The G&SI Officer will partner with key internal stakeholders including LOBs and Corporate Functions to collect riskrank and maintain an uptodate library of Bank Policies. When applicable the G&SI Officer will escalate any policyrelated issues to Senior and Executive Management senior operating committees and the Board of Directors.
This role will oversee the Enterprise Issue Management Program partnering with issue sources and issue management coordinators to ensure that all issues are addressed in a timely manner with action plans having the proper artifacts to evidence implementation. This includes thematic analysis of issues and review and challenge to ensure consistency in how issues are logged into the GRC system.
In addition to providing oversight this role will report updates delays extensions or issues related to the Enterprise Issue Management Program and provide progress reports on ERM projects and initiatives to Senior Management Executive Management and the Board of Directors.
