Job Description

WWFIndia is one of the largest organisations engaged in wildlife and nature conservation over the past 50 years. We are inviting applications for the vacancy of a Programme Officer for our Governance Law & Policy division.


Location: New Delhi

Job Profile:
  • Foundational knowledge in livelihood approaches value chain development market systems and income generation strategies.
  • Ability to conduct participatory assessmentsdevelop monitoring schedules assess livelihood plans.
  • Knowledge of project management including planning budgeting monitoring and reporting.
  • Strong communication skills along with documentation.
  • Willingness to travel to field and also organize trainings meetings liaise with partners and technical institutes.
  • Basic knowledge of environmental laws and compliances.
  • Any other task as assigned

Requirements

Desired Qualifications Experience and Abilities:

  • Masters in social work economics agriculture ecology development studies or arelated field.
  • Worked with local NGOs/CBOs/communities on livelihoods micro credit monitoring district authorities etc
  • Experience of working with local communities/NGOs
  • Ability to document and write reports.
  • Ability to monitor and review work.
  • Liaison with local partners
  • Assist in managing partnerships
  • Timely delivery of work
