About the CASA Division:
The Snohomish County Office of the Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) champions the best interests of children in the dependency system ensuring they are heard supported and empowered. We advocate first for family preservation and reunification recognizing that children thrive when connected to their families culture and community. Our interdisciplinary team of staff and volunteers work collaboratively to transform lives one child at a time.
We recruit train and support quality volunteer advocates for the best interests of abused neglected and abandoned children. Our vision is that every child who needs a voice has a CASA to advocate for their best interests a forever home and a bright future. As part of the larger Human Services Department the CASA Division leverages countywide resources and partnerships to create lasting positive outcomes for the most vulnerable children in our community.
About You:
You are a passionate advocate for children with strong leadership qualities who is ready to take the next step in your career. You possess excellent organizational and communication skills with the ability to supervise mentor and develop staff while maintaining the highest standards of program quality. Your experience in human services has prepared you to understand the complex needs of vulnerable populations and the systems that serve them.
You thrive in a collaborative office environment working closely with teams to ensure the best possible outcomes for those we serve. You value the importance of inperson connections and direct engagement with both staff and stakeholders which is why this integral leadership role requires your fulltime presence in our office.
About Us Together:
As the CASA Division Supervisor you will be at the heart of our operation. Depending on specific assignment your role may include guiding our staff supporting the vital work of our volunteer advocates ensuring compliance with public records requirements overseeing administrative functions and/or strategically developing marketing and recruitment plans for growth in our CASA network. Your leadership will directly impact the quality of advocacy we provide to vulnerable children in the dependency system. Together we will continue to strengthen our program ensure compliance with all standards and requirements and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families in Snohomish County.

STATEMENT OF ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
A Bachelors degree in business public administration social sciences or other field directly related to human services; PLUS four 4 years of progressively responsible experience in the administration of human services programs including two 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience OR any equivalent combination of education training and/or experience that provides the required knowledge and abilities. Must pass jobrelated tests.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
A valid Washington State Drivers License unrestricted except as to vision is required prior to appointment. Depending on the program assignment applicants may be required to pass additional screening relevant to the position.
