Summary
Supervises the operations of Subrogation and Workers Compensation department to recover money for the corporation.
Description
Logistics:
This is a fulltime 40 HOPW) position. The ideal candidate will be required to work onsite at our Columbia SC location.
What You Will Do:
Perform quality control reviews of staff to ensure appropriate understanding and utilization of applicable laws contracts policies and procedures.
Monitor production and timeliness of work.
Responsible for handling personnel issues including hiring training and motivating.

Enforce performance standards through training and disciplinary measures as needed.
Maintain effective public relations with groups marketing consultants providers members attorneys liability carriers and internal departments by providing accurate and prompt responses to inquiries.
Assist with and occasionally perform group and marketing presentations.
Assist and advise staff on complex matters concerning policies procedures system issues and legal issues.
Prepare monthly and quarterly group divisional and corporate reports.
Monitor system issues. Identify recommend and implement enhancements as necessary.
Participate in steering joint administration discussions (JAD) and other IS meetings and conduct system testing as necessary.
To Qualify for This Position You Will Need:
Required Education: Bachelors Degree or equivalency or 4 years of jobrelated work experience or associates degree and 2 years job related work experience.
Required Work Experience: 3 years of legal claims customer service or negotiation experience.
Required Skills and Abilities: Analyzes laws regulations and contract language.
Evaluates issues and develops recommendations.
Handles confidential and sensitive information.
Investigates assigned claims.
Proposes claims adjustments and refunds.
Works claims caseloads.
