Looking to make a difference in civil defense We seek a talented and motivated Associate Attorney to join our thriving General Liability Defense practice. Key Responsibilities
- Manage a diverse caseload of general liability matters with a focus on construction defect cases
- Collaborate with senior partners to develop effective litigation strategies
- Draft legal documents including pleadings motions and discovery responses
- Take and defend depositions
- Represent clients in court appearances mediations and arbitrations
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D. degree from an accredited law school
- Active membership in good standing with the state bar
- Minimum of one year of experience in construction defense/general liability defense
- Preferred specialization in construction defect cases
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Ability to manage a highvolume caseload efficiently
Experience
- Construction defect litigation
- Product liability and premises liability cases
- Drafting responses to discovery requests
- Taking and defending depositions
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $100000 to $160000 per year based on relevant experience
- Additional bonus: $30 per hour for all hours worked
- Comprehensive benefits package including 401(k) match and generous PTO plan
Work Arrangement
- Initially inoffice with potential transition to a hybrid schedule 3 days in office 2 days remote)
- Possibility of additional remote work days based on proven performance
