Role Summary:
Responsible for Design and Development of Control Valves.
Responsibilities:
- Ability in designing modeling & detailing of industrial valve / pneumatic actuators in Solidworks.
- Ability to read analyze and interpret general business periodicals procedures international codes and standards or governmental regulations.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from both internal and external customers.
- Ability to define problems collects data establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
- Proficient in mechanical Engineering core subjects Computeraideddrafting. Geometric dimensioning and tolerancing. (GD&T).
- Familiarity with Electrical pneumatic and electropneumatic control instruments valves.
- Communicate professionally and with accepted business etiquette; work well with people in other departments and with customers. Ability to use a variety of test equipment and interpret test results.
- Ability to initiate corrective and preventive action plans.
- Thorough Knowledge in International Standards series relevant to Valves ASME ASTM API ISA ISO EN etc.
Requirements:
- BE/BTech/ME/MTech in Mechanical Engineering or Equivalent with minimum 7 years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge and hands on experience in Industrial Valve design Linear Control Valves (Globe) & Rotary Control Valves (Butterfly Eccentric Plug Valve Control Ball Valves).
- Knowledge in CAD/CAE Packages Solidworks Ansys
- Knowledge in ASME API ISO Standards and procedures.
- Hands on experience in BOM Preparation with Oracle / SAP or any other ERP is an added advantage.
