GENERAL SUMMARY OF POSITION
The Territory Sales Manager will be responsible for managing government tender accounts and developing strategic relationships with key stakeholders in government hospitals. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of surgical and OT (Operating Theatre) environments along with a proven track record of success in government tender work and sales/business processes.
RESPONSIBILITIES & SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES
Government Tender Management
Manage the entire process of government tender submissions ensuring timely and accurate responses.
Develop and maintain relationships with government procurement officials and decisionmakers.
Collaborate with internal teams to prepare tender documents and pricing proposals.
Key Stakeholder Relationship Management
Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders including physicians surgeons nurses and hospital administrators.
Conduct regular meetings and presentations to update stakeholders on product offerings and value propositions.
Act as a trusted advisor to key stakeholders providing insights and solutions to meet their needs.
Market Knowledge and Coverage
Possess indepth knowledge of all government hospitals in the region including their procurement processes and key contacts.
Identify and prioritize target accounts based on potential revenue and strategic importance.
Stay updated on industry trends competitor activities and regulatory changes affecting the healthcare sector.
Surgical/OT Expertise:
Demonstrate a strong understanding of surgical and OT environments including product usage and application.
Provide technical support and training to healthcare professionals on product features and benefits.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and educational resources
Sales and Business Process Expertise
Understand and adhere to all sales and business processes including CRM usage reporting requirements and compliance standards.
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and business objectives.
Education : Graduation in Science / Pharmacy
