HP Indigo is looking for an R&D Researcher/Physicist
In this role you will have the opportunity to:
- Join an international leading digital printing company and be a part of a strong and talented team
- Develop innovative and complex technologies
- Work with experienced researchers and technologists while having stateoftheart facilities and labs
What Youll Be Doing
As an R&D researcher you will conduct research & investigation in various fields to develop and shape HP Indigos future platforms.
- Responsibility for the printing process development of tomorrows HP Indigo engines to meet print quality and cost targets
- Study and optimize physical process parameters and materials to achieve bestinclass print quality
- Design perform analyze and summarize experiments involving multidisciplinary knowledge. Share findings with relevant stakeholders both in the technical community and at the management level.
- Convert marketing requirements into engineering requirements based on theory and experiments.
- Develop and improve quantitative measurement methodologies.
- Develop physical models to characterize systems and interactions between subsystems understand physical mechanisms and define critical parameters.
- Working with a diverse group of physicists and engineers to help solve complex problems.
What You Need to Be Successful
- Minimum Requirements:
- M.Sc. in physics or Mechanical Chemical Materials or equivalent engineering Or B.Sc. with over 2 years of experimental R&D work experience
- Excellent communication skills both in Hebrew and English
- Leadership abilities wide perspective wellorganized independent and with a cando attitude
How You Can Stand Out
It would be impressive if you have one or more of these:
- PhD physics/engineering
- Experimentalist
- Prior experience 35 years) as a researcher/engineer in a multidisciplinary environment
- Modeling development experience
- Demonstrated Programming ability in Python Matlab or a related technical language
