This is a AWW position: Friday Sunday 6:00am 6:30pm
Relocation assistance is not offered and will not be considered.
Employees must be in their role for 12 months before applying.
What You Will Do:
- Utilize applicable standard work and inventory management system to ensure inventory accuracy of the MRBQuality Clinic
- Perform basic cycle counts as required to maintain inventory
- Perform postdisposition process for the MRBQuality Clinic
- Package and ship customer returned material as required for the Quality Clinic
- Maintain current knowledge of and compliance with customer/Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)/Joint Aviation Administration (JAA) technical data as applicable to the work assigned.
- Train other personnel
- Provide technical support and maintain a strong working relationship with the QRC and Quality Clinic team
- Responsibilities are not limited to the listed items above and can be changed or modified based on skill level proficiency and overall performance.
What You Will Learn: The Pratt & Whitney Site in Asheville NC implements manufacturing industry 4.0 initiatives to include state of the art manufacturing processes. The selected candidate will have the opportunity to learn and drive impactful production on some of the newest machines on a greenfield site.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2 years of experience managing inventory or working in a materials shipping receiving or logistics support role
- Ability to conduct physical activities such as bending reaching pulling pushing
- U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
Qualifications We Value:
- Experience with Access and/or Excel databases
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Intermediate knowledge of MS Office computer software including MS Word Excel PowerPoint and Outlook
- Aptitude for training
- Knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations regulatory requirements or work experience with government regulatory agencies

What is My Role Type In addition to transforming the future of flight we are also transforming how and where we work. Weve introduced role types to help you understand how you will operate in our blended work environment. This role is Onsite. Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers as they are essential to the development of our engines.
