Dietary Aide Responsibilities
- Assists cooks with preparation of meals following federal state and local regulations.
- Serves residents meals in a timely fashion.
- Works well in a team environment.
- Maintains kitchen standards and expectations.
- Delivers and picksup tray carts to dining area for meal service.
- Performs dishwashing procedures including pots and pans and all equipment operates commercial dish machine.
- Sets up for next meal.
- Demonstrates and maintains a positive professional manner manages times efficiently and effectively promotes a team approach.
Dietary Aide Requirements
- High school education; or up to one month of related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Applicants must be able to work day and evening shifts as well as be available to work weekends. Candidates will also be required to pass a preemployment background check and drug screen.
- 12 years of experience in a restaurant or healthcare facility is preferred.
