Overview
Abound Health a provider of home and community services for adults with intellectual disabilities is seeking a dedicated Caregiver to join our compassionate team. As a Caregiver you will play a crucial role in providing care and support to individuals in need promoting their wellbeing and independence.

Responsibilities:
- Building trusting relationships with clients to facilitate effective care and support
- Promote client outcomes in behavioral social and vocational realms
- Assist client participation in leisure/recreational activities
- Maintain a schedule of services/activities in a treatment plan and report on status of health and safety objectives
- Provide respite and companionship to offer relief to family or primary caregiver
- Complete and submit documentation and payroll data according to scheduled deadlines
- Complete initial and ongoing training and staff development activities
- Ability to achieve competency in required knowledge skills and abilities
- Ability to work independently in the community and/or the clients home
- Willingness to address personal care needs when necessary based on individual client needs
- Passion and experience working with individuals with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities (I/DD) is preferred
Skills:
- Strong caregiving skills with a focus on empathy and patience
- Ability to administer medications accurately
- Competence in assisting with ADLs for individuals with varying needs
Job Types Available:

Pay: $15.00 $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 40 per week

- Caregiving: 12 years (Preferred)

- Morning Day and Evening Shifts

- In person
Travel:
- Travel is expected from the clients home into the community
*$1000 Signing Bonus Details
- $333 paid out after working 90 days with an average of 20 hours per week
- $333 paid out after working 6 months 180 days) with an average of 20 hours per week
- $334 paid out after working 1 year 365 days) with an average of 20 hours per week
- Applicant cannot have been employed by Abound Health (or any of our newly acquired companies) in the past 18 months
- Signing bonus not applicable for Residential Services
- Employees hired as Relative as Providers (RAPs) are not eligible for the Signing Bonus
