Qualifications:
- Bachelor and Masters degree in Education
- Valid Texas Teachers Certificate
- Valid Principal Certificate
- 5 Years of teaching experience
- Knowledge of effective research: change process systems thinking organizational culture and adult learners
- Ability to plan implement deliver and sustain professional development for teachers and instructional leaders
- Advanced knowledge of curriculum practices instruction assessment school improvement and organizational culture
- Knowledge of federal and state accountability programs
- Knowledge of performancebased monitoring requirements
- Recommended by the ESC Executive Director
Center Responsibilities:
- Processes all personal timekeeping travel reporting and other paperwork in a timely manner
- Maintains professional attire and grooming appropriate for specific job position
- Demonstrates punctual and regular attendance on the job
- Reports for work ready to perform responsibilities
- Supports the mission goals and objectives of the ESC
- Upholds and adheres to safety rules and policies of the ESC

Position Responsilbilites:
- Provide professional development and technical assistance on effective teaching practices curriculum alignment and instructional resources including TEKS RS Texas OER (Bluebonnet Learning) and TCR.
- Design and deliver workshops on developing and adapting K5 math strategies instructional units and curriculum documents.
- Facilitate training on the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) for K5 math including related technology applications to support statemandated assessments.
- Analyze STAAR and local assessment data to recommend appropriate interventions instructional strategies and enrichment for K5 math.
- Support the integration of technology into the math curriculum through targeted professional development.
- Establish and maintain partnerships with the Texas Education Agency (TEA) and other relevant professional organizations.
- Provide technical assistance to districts to enhance math instruction and student achievement.
- Coordinate and implement effective training staff development and technical support aligned with program and project objectives.
- Travel within and outside the region (using a personal vehicle) as required to support program initiatives and district needs.
Special Asssignments:
- Additional projects as assigned by supervisor or Executive Director
Terms of Employment:
Up to 226 working days
This is an atwill employment position.
In the event of an economic slump a reductioninforce may be necessary. Employees will be notified in writing.
