What Youll Do
As an Senior Engineering Manager for the Human Risk team you will be instrumental in forming and scaling highperforming teams offering dedicated support for individual growth and career progression. Your responsibilities will include:
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including Product Managers Architects and Engineers to define project milestones and deliverables.
- Engage closely with the HR and Recruitment teams to attract onboard and retain exceptional engineering talent.
- Identify and mitigate technical risks associated with projects ensuring smooth and reliable operation.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture ensuring effective communication and knowledge sharing.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives leveraging standards and best practices to maintain highquality software development.
- Monitor and analyze AWS usage working with senior management and engineer teams to provide recommendations for cost savings.
What Youll Bring:
- Strong communication skills with experience in effectively communicating technical concepts to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
- Successful track record of project leadership including planning and delivery of complex projects with predictability.
- Strong technical background in software engineering with handson experience in designing and developing backend services at scale within AWS.
- Experience of frontend development
- Experience in building and scaling highperforming engineering teams including recruitment onboarding and ongoing talent development.
- Experience in establishing and enforcing coding standards best practices and quality assurance processes to maintain highquality software development.
