We are seeking a mechanically inclined motivated individual to join our team as a Mobile Equipment Installation & Operations Technician. This is a longterm fulltime role based in Rock Hill SC but will require an initial 46 week paid training and truck build period in Charleston SC. During this time you will assist in converting one of our specialized trucks from a drying unit into a blending unit for polychemical materials.
PolyClean will provide hotel accommodations during training a weekly stipend and you will have the ability to return home on weekends.
Once the buildout is complete you will transition to an operations role at a customer site in Rock Hill SC.
Training & Truck Build Period 46 weeks in Charleston SC):
Assist in the mechanical and electrical buildout of a new mobile blending unit
Install and assemble pneumatic mechanical and conduit systems
Collaborate with technicians and supervisors to ensure quality and safety standards
Follow electrical schematics and mechanical diagrams
LongTerm Role (Rock Hill SC):
Operate and maintain the mobile blending unit at our customers site
Conduct routine inspections preventative maintenance and basic repairs
Monitor material blending quality and ensure adherence to specifications
Complete shift reports maintenance logs and operational documentation
Follow all company and customer safety protocols
Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in pneumatics electrical conduit installation or industrial equipment maintenance
Problemsolver with a keen eye for detail
Selfmotivated and capable of working independently
Professional and dependable with strong communication skills
Willing and able to travel temporarily for training/build period
3 years of experience in a mechanical industrial or maintenance technician role
Basic electrical knowledge including reading schematics and working with conduit
Experience with pneumatic systems and industrial equipment assembly
Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks in an industrial environment
Clean background check (mandatory)
Valid drivers license
Welding fabrication or machining experience
Forklift certification
Experience in plastics manufacturing or blending operations
