UnityPoint Health Allen Hospital is a 204bed community hospital serving the Cedar Valley. Allen Hospital is the busiest hospital in the Cedar Valley. - Utilizes EPIC as an electronic health record both for inpatient and outpatient services.
Responsibilities
- Clinic hours: MF 830AM5PM
- Full call participation equal share nights weekends daytime hospital rounds
- Our boardcertified cardiologistsare dedicated to helpingprevent manage and overcome heart or vascular disease
- Heart care includes Cardiovascular and cardiothoracic Surgery
- 204 bed Hospital with wellestablished hospitalist team
- Excellent specialty support
- 12 Bed ICU with intensivist
- 31 Bed ED and Level 3 Trauma Center with Specially trained Physician and Nurses in providing emergency care as well as in trauma and resuscitation.
- Cohesive group of colleagues and supportive staff allowing for autonomy while building the practice according to your preferences
- Experienced staff both clinical and nonclinical who know the patients and the community
- Fulltime position including dedicated administrative time with flexible scheduling to ensure sufficient patient access
- 24/7 hospitalist program is responsible for adult and pediatric inpatients
- Fully integrated system with clinics and hospitals on EPIC EMR to improve care coordination
Qualifications
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Cardiology
- Ability to obtain and hold an unrestricted license to practice in the state of State
- Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the physicians field of practice
- Eligible to work in the United States (H1B cap exempt)
- J1 waiver sponsorship available
