Job Description
A leading commercial banking group is seeking an experienced Commercial Real Estate (CRE) and Construction Loan Officer to drive business growth in New Jersey and Eastern Pennsylvania (Philadelphia market). The role involves sourcing structuring and managing real estate and construction loans supported by a team of underwriters and analysts.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and source new commercial real estate and construction lending opportunities.
- Network with real estate professionals to generate business.
- Analyze loan requests property financials and client data to assess creditworthiness.
- Structure loans and assess risk to ensure compliance with bank policies.
- Prepare credit memos and present loan applications for approval.
- Maintain strong client relationships and manage loan renewals/modifications.
- Stay informed on commercial lending trends regulations and market conditions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline the lending process.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of CRE and construction lending experience with a proven track record.
- Strong knowledge of New Jersey and Eastern PA markets.
- Excellent relationshipbuilding and networking skills.
- Strong analytical organizational and communication skills.
- Knowledge of commercial lending trends regulations and compliance policies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office especially Excel.
- Bachelors degree in Real Estate Finance Business or related field preferred.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
Salary & Benefits:
Salary: $100000 $150000 Commissions
Location: Hybrid/Remote flexibility based in Fort Lee NJ
