Veterinary Assistant
Windy Hill Veterinary Hospital
Windy Hill Veterinary Hospitalis looking for a compassionateveterinary assistantto join our animal hospital. The veterinary assistant will be responsible for assisting the doctors with examining and monitoring our patients maintaining clean and sanitary conditions in exam and surgical rooms. The ideal candidate must be willing to learn new skills and develop their talents. Being passionate loving and caring towards our patients clients and staff is a must. Having excellent communication and organizational skills is a bonus. If you are looking for a professional energetic no day the same animal hospital to work at then we are looking forward to meeting you.
- 1 year of prior veterinary experience
- Knowledge of Idexx equipment preferred not required
- Avimark software knowledge preferred not required
- Ability to work rotating weekends
- Working knowledge of standard industry tools and equipment
- Solid understanding of animal behavior and healthcare
- Experience with proper animal handling and restraint
- Passion for working with animals and their owners
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Positive teamplayer willing to continue to learn
