Job Description
Were looking for an experienced Water Design Technician to join our design team and help deliver essential water infrastructure projects. This is a key role where your CAD expertise and industry knowledge will directly support the successful delivery of highimpact realworld projects.
What youll be doing:
- Producing highquality AutoCAD drawings to support water infrastructure designs
- Ensuring all drawings meet accuracy and compliance standards and are delivered on time
- Redrafting external design elements and hand sketches into company AutoCAD templates
- Providing drawing office support to Clients Technical and Operations teams
- Maintaining open lines of communication with internal teams to support project delivery
- Managing and maintaining the drawing record database
What were looking for:
- CAD experience within the water industry or utilities sector
- Strong 2D AutoCAD proficiency and familiarity with drawing standards
- A good understanding of water network design and industry processes
- High attention to detail and the ability to manage technical documentation
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative working styl
