Position:Infrastructure Summer Intern
Location: Grafton WI
Hybrid: Onsite 3x per week

JOB DESCRIPTION
The Regal Rexnord Information Technology Internship Program is a fulltime 10week paid internship at our Grafton and Milwaukee offices starting June 2025.

We are seeking a highly motivated a Summer Intern to join our team and assist our Infrastructure team in driving our digital transformation initiatives. This internship provides an excellent opportunity for a student with a passion for administrating and managing onpremise and cloud (AzureAWS) infrastructure and integrating artificial intelligence to gain handson experience in a realworld business environment.
This internship will provide students an opportunity to gain a breadth of knowledge and experiences across our IT organization. Beyond the learn by doing training structure the program cultivates excellence in communication skills via formal reportouts to peers and senior Digital and IT leadership and regularly scheduled mentor meetings with program leadership.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the global Infrastructure team to analyze business requirements and identify opportunities to leverage data analytics and AI for improving various aspects of our operations.
- Automation: identify potential use of AI to automate repetitive tasks such as monitoring and troubleshooting of servers storage systems and networks freeing up IT personnel to focus on more critical tasks.
- Predictive maintenance: use of AI for predictive maintenance to identify potential issues and take proactive measures to prevent system failures.
- Efficient resource allocation: By analyzing usage patterns AI can optimize the allocation of IT resources such as storage and computing power.
- Participate in process analysis requirements gathering and solution design.
- Support data collection preprocessing and cleansing efforts to ensure the quality accuracy and reliability of data used for training and validation.
- Assist in documenting processes methodologies and best practices to facilitate knowledge sharing and transfer within the organization.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelors degree program with a Computer Science/Information Systems or related major
- GPA of 3.2 or higher
- Familiarity with IT Infrastructure components (ie Hardwaremonitoring O365 Azure AWSServiceNow)
- Basic understanding of data analytics and statistical methods
- Ability to analyze data identify patterns and draw meaningful conclusions
- Are eager to learn adaptable and have excellent problemsolving skill
- Selfstarter and idea generator
- Desire to learn and contribute
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams
- Proven capability to manage multiple priorities and handle yourself professionally
