What Youll Bring:
- 3 years of relevant privacy experience as a licensed US attorney
- Expertise in US privacy and data protection laws such CCPA COPPA BIPA HIPPA laws
- Experience and understanding of marketing and ad tech
- Keen understanding of the changing landscape of US privacy laws regulations and guidance including new comprehensive state privacy laws in Colorado and Virginia
- Demonstrable understanding of how privacy laws impact and are impacted by technology
- Ability to communicate difficult legal concepts anticipate potential objections and persuade senior business leaders to adopt a different point of view
- Ability to foster relationships and become a trusted business partner
- High level of ethics and integrity in professional matters sensitivity for confidentiality and respect for individuals
- Detailoriented with proven organizational skills and analytical ability; Ability to prioritize problem solve and work well under time pressure under limited to zero oversight
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited school required
- Qualified candidates must have an active license to practice law and be in good standing in the applicable state(s) of employment by the position start date (or as otherwise permitted by state rules)
- At all times of employment qualified candidates must remain in good standing and maintain an active license to practice law in their applicable state(s) of employment.
Wed Love to See:
- Experience implementing the intricacies of US privacy laws particularly in financial services or other highly regulated industry
- International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) CIPP or similar certifications

This role reports to the US Privacy Lead in the Legal function but works across various internal functions. The position supports and enhances the efforts of Global Technology Global Solutions and Data Acquisition.
- Maintain and grow a meaningful professional network
- Draft update and regularly review privacy notices policies and procedures as necessary. Review and approve privacy training as necessary
- Execute on strategic plan to advance and continue to mature the privacy program to comply with upcoming US privacy laws and best practices

This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as inperson at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.Benefits:

Pay Scale Information :
The U.S. base salary range for this position is $112500.00 $187500 annually. *The salary range for this position reflects a reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this job. At TransUnion actual compensation is based on careful consideration of additional factors such as (but not limited to) an individuals education training work experience jobrelated skill set location and industry knowledge as well as the scope and responsibilities of the position and market considerations.Regular fulltime nonsales positions may be eligible to participate in TransUnions annual bonus plan. Certain positions may be also eligible for longterm incentives and other payments based on applicable company guidance and plan documents.TransUnions Internal Job Title:
