Description
RPO Recruitment is seeking an experienced Dispatch Supervisor to join our clients team in Germiston Gauteng. This is an excellent opportunity for a resultsdriven professional to oversee dispatch operations in a fastpaced warehouse environment. If you have strong leadership skills and a background in logistics and distribution we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily dispatch operations to ensure timely and accurate deliveries
- Monitor stock levels and ensure proper inventory control procedures are followed
- Manage and oversee the loading and unloading of goods
- Implement and enforce safety regulations and company policies
- Optimize dispatch routes to improve efficiency and reduce costs
- Maintain accurate records of shipments deliveries and dispatch schedules
- Communicate with drivers warehouse staff and customers to resolve any issues
- Train and mentor dispatch staff to enhance performance and productivity
Requirements
- Matric (Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
- Diploma or certification in Logistics Supply Chain or a related field (advantageous)
- Proven experience as a Dispatch Supervisor or in a similar logistics role
- Strong knowledge of dispatch operations route planning and inventory management
- Excellent leadership organizational and problemsolving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and warehouse management systems
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
