The salary range for this position takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.

At WGU it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their position and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is:

Pay Range: $122100.00 $219800.00

Job Description

  • Contributes to embraces and implements the shared vision and universitywide strategy.
  • Leads personnel processes and innovation in Mentoring.
  • Directs hiring performance management development and retention of faculty and staff.
  • Focuses on effective workforce planning to support significant growth while optimizing unit economics.
  • Exhibits sound financial stewardship to achieve successful student program and school/college outcomes.
  • Sets clear and achievable goals for specialized mentoring based on strategic priorities.
  • Ensures a culture of continuous improvement experimentation measurement and learning from data to enhance mentoring quality.
  • Collaborates with academic and administrative leadership faculty and team members across the university.
  • Specializes in serving students with individual needs and at scale to achieve key results in student success.
  • Contributes to WGUs culture and practices in line with its brand differentiation and desired employee experience.
  • Travels to Commencement Ceremonies School meetings and to support networking toward innovation and thought leadership.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education

  • Masters degree in Business Education or a related field.

Experience

  • Five 5 years of people leadership experience overseeing budgets and managing diverse teams including five 5 years in design strategy and product ownership with a focus on continuous improvement and thought leadership.
  • Higher Ed coaching background.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in Business or Education or content area relevant to the role
  • Work experience with competencybased education
  • Leadership experience with Mentoring.

Work Environment:

  • Travel will be required for Commencement Ceremonies School meetings and to support networking toward innovation and thought leadership

Physical Requirements:

  • May have prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer

Position & Application Details

FullTime Regular Positions (classified as regular and working 40 standard weekly hours): This is a fulltime regular position (classified for 40 standard weekly hours) that is eligible for bonuses; medical dental vision telehealth and mental healthcare; health savings account and flexible spending account; basic and voluntary life insurance; disability coverage; accident critical illness and hospital indemnity supplemental coverages; legal and identity theft coverage; retirement savings plan; wellbeing program; discounted WGU tuition; and flexible paid time off for rest and relaxation with no need for accrual flexible paid sick time with no need for accrual 11 paid holidays and other paid leaves including up to 12 weeks of parental leave.
