As a Summer Intern at Formic youll gain exposure to the full lifecycle of customer deployment while also contributing to the evolution of our internal operations and crossfunctional processes. Youll have a frontrow seat to how we scale scope and deploy our industryleading RoboticsasaService (RaaS) offering and youll have the opportunity to help shape the future of Formic.
As an intern on this team you may:
- Support coordination between internal teams external vendors or customers
- Help prepare deployment/software documentation checklists or reports
- Shadow customer calls or deployment planning meetings and take detailed notes
- Help prepare customerfacing materials or FAQs for onsite implementation
- Coordinate postdeployment information collection or issue tracking
- Support onsite engineers or project managers
- Assist with testing setup or validation of robotic systems
- Help document edge cases or integration notes for specific customer sites
What makes you a great fit:
- Located in the greater Chicago IL area and able to work in person in our Woodridge IL office
- Currently pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering Industrial Engineering Robotics Operations Business or a related field
- Possesses strong organizational and time management skills; able to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
- Has clear confident written and verbal communication skills
- Has an interest in robotics automation or industrial technologies
- Is proficient in basic office and collaboration tools (e.g. Google Workspace Excel project management software like Asana or Notion)
- Is a selfstarter with a curious mindset and eagerness to learn
- Is comfortable working in a fastpaced crossfunctional environment
Compensation
As a nonexempt (hourly) employee in a temporary and/or parttime role this position is not eligible for benefits outside of those required by law. The expected hourly rate range of pay for this position is below.
Hourly Rate Range:
$16 $35 USD
