Morris Animal Inn a familyowned and operated luxury pet resort offering the finest in lodging grooming training and daycare services is now hiring Dog Daycare Counselors at our Warren NJ location. The position starts at $15.50 $16.50 per hour depending on your professional pet care experience.
Our Dog Daycare department is staffed from 6:30 AM to 7:30 PM Monday through Friday and from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Saturdays and Sundays. Please note that some weekend and holiday availability is required.
Your Role as a Dog Daycare Counselor:
- Supervise and engage in playful group and individual activities for dogs of various breeds and sizes.
- Monitor dog behavior to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment.
- Assist in crafting unique dog enrichment plans.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in all pet and work areas.
- Provide daily updates to pet parents fostering strong relationships.
- Collaborate with our amazing teams all dedicated to expert pet care.

What Were Looking For:
- Must love and be able to confidently handle dogs of all breeds and sizes; from the teacup type to the are you sure thats not a small horse and everything in between.
- Prior experience in dog daycare or boarding facility (preferred but not required).
- A basic understanding of dog behavior and body language.
- Strong communication skills for effective client interactions.
- Ability to walk/stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 40 lbs.
- Availability for weekend and holiday shifts (essential as we care for dogs 365 days a year!.
