Hardship & Collections Consultant (First Nations Identified Role)
How will I help
Westpac is always on the lookout for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Identified job seekers to Join Our Mob. These roles are First Nations Identified positions.
In your new role you will be making outbound calls and taking inbound calls from customers across different product portfolios aiming to recover overdue balances. Youll use various tools and methods like negotiation and questioning skills and youll also provide or refer customers for hardship assistance or suggest they seek independent financial advice. Its all about showing empathy and emotional intelligence to help our customers maintain their relationship with the bank.
Your goal as a Hardship & Collections Consultant is to ensure that customers achieve fair timely and relevant outcomes to regain their financial health while also protecting our business by safeguarding the Groups assets.
These are fulltime permanent positions based at Bedford Park with hybrid working available after six months. You will work on a rotating roster with shifts between 8:15am 8pm Monday to Friday with the occasional Saturday shift.
