Nurse (RN/LPN)
Reports to: Director of Health Services
Location: Sycamore Run (La Grange KY)
LPN: $26.0036.92/hour
RN: $32.0046.80/hour

What youll do:
To provide each resident with continuous holistic nursing which includes emotional spiritual physical and safety aspects and healthcare services by administering treatments medication etc. as prescribed by the physician. Initiate and follow preventative measurements to protect residents from undue injury illness or trauma with the goal of developing maintaining and improving the residents physical wellbeing which will enable them to reach the highest possible degree of wellness. Be a participating member of the Park Place/Sycamore Run team assisting in the general wellbeing of the residents.
- Participate in the residents individual program plan and ensure the health services aspects of that plan.
- Assess plan implement and evaluate the residents treatment plan.
- Observe record and report findings to the appropriate person and to perform routine nursing duties including but not limited to giving medications and treatments taking vital signs monitoring blood sugars and urine testing.
- Assist with all aspect for residents care and training.
- Assist accompany residents to the doctor or hospital as needed.
- Active communicating member of the Park Place/Sycamore Run team.
- Administer basic first aid and/or CPR in an emergency situation.
- Write monthly nursing summary and assessment in the residents care plan.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What sets you apart:
- Must be a graduate of a stateapproved school of nursing.
- Must have a current Kentucky license to practice nursing.
- Current CPR and first aid training certification.
- One year in the field of developmental disabilities and intellectual disabilities preferred.
- Two years nursing experience in a longterm facility preferred.
- Experience in the team approach to health care and IDT mechanics.

What your schedule looks like:
Schedule: PT 24 hours per week 212 hour shifts 7a7p occasional weekends as needed.
OCCUPATIONAL EXPOSURE CLASSIFICATION
All employees in this job classification are reasonably anticipated to have routine occupational exposure to potentially hazardous bloodborne pathogens.
Please note that Cedar Lake Lodge Park Place and Sycamore Run are Intermediate Care Facilities placing us under the CMS Omnibus COVID19 Health Care Staff Vaccination Interim Rule. Under this rule employees must be vaccinated or have an approved medical or religious exemption prior to employment.
