Job Description
Position: CMA TRAINEE
Profile Summary: The roles and responsibilities of a CMA (Cost and Management Accountant) Trainee involve supporting the accounting and financial management functions within an organization.
Job Description:
Financial Analysis and Reporting:
Assist in preparing financial statements and reports.
Analyze financial data to identify trends and variances.
Support the preparation of management reports and financial projections.
Cost Management:
Assist in analyzing cost structures and identifying costsaving opportunities.
Support the preparation and monitoring of budgets.
Track and analyze cost behavior and profitability.
Accounting Support:
Assist with daytoday accounting activities including journal entries and reconciliations.
Help in maintaining accurate financial records and documentation.
Support the monthend and yearend closing processes.
Internal Controls and Compliance:
Help ensure compliance with accounting standards company policies and regulatory requirements.
Assist in internal audits and control reviews.
Support the implementation and monitoring of internal control procedures.
Data Management:
Assist in maintaining and updating financial databases and records.
Help prepare and analyze data for decisionmaking purposes.
Support data accuracy and integrity in financial systems.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
Assist in the preparation and analysis of budgets and financial forecasts.
Support budget tracking and variance analysis.
Qualification / Experience / Skills
1. Pursuing or completed CMA certification or equivalent.
2. Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.
3. Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g. SAP Oracle).
5. Attention to detail and accuracy.
6. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
