Role Overview:
As a Senior Data Research Analyst you will focus on collecting Fund Performance Data from varioussources. You will align with company goals policies and procedures to achieve overall objectives.
In this role you will collaborate with leadership to improve performance productivity andefficiency while ensuring the successful delivery of operational performance KPIs. You will also takeresponsibility for your performance and development to support continuous operational success.
Key Responsibilities:
Collect managed investment data using Morningstar collection systems ensuring timeliness completeness and accuracy to meet business goals.
Manage relationships with asset management companies insurance companies and other data vendors.
Collaborate with quality assurance product and technical teams to resolve data issues efficiently.
Contribute to initiatives focused on consolidating global data collection platforms and supporting database integration projects.
Set and achieve Objectives & Key Results (OKRs) with guidance from team leads.
Monitor analyze and execute summary reports investigating potential data errors to improve data collection and quality processes using Lean Six Sigma tools
. Identify and raise issues in systems processes and methodologies proposing enhancements to improve functionality efficiency and data quality.
Participate in data and processrelated projects including market research market expansion process certification and support for new product development.
Facilitate crossteam projects by implementing approved solutions based on priority and impact
. Take ownership of processes serving as a trainer and mentor to team members.
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years experience in the finance domain focusing on data collection methodologies or a senior data research analyst role.
Experience with Fund Data is preferred.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel PowerPoint etc.; advanced users preferred. Knowledge of SQL or Python and exposure to AI/ML technologies is a plus.
Strong critical thinking and communication skills both written and verbal.
Expertise in datarelated competencies such as content analysis and data analytics.
Demonstrated analytical and problemsolving capabilities with a track record of effective reporting and written communication.
Teamoriented with strong learning ability and selfmotivation to excel in an independent fastpaced environment.
Ability to manage planned activities such as training mentoring new hires and conducting quality checks.
Ability to meet deadlines and handle pressure during peak seasons
. Proven project management skills with the ability to deliver projects independently. Flexibility to work in shifts as required
