Job Description

Job Title: Treatment Coordinator / Treatment Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Hearing Instrument Specialist to provide remote hearing healthcare services for acoustic hearing aids and Earlens hearing devices. This role involves conducting hearing assessments consultations and recommending personalized hearing solutions through telemedicine technology. The ideal candidate is passionate about patient care experienced in hearing instrument fitting and comfortable working in a virtual healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct remote hearing assessments and diagnostics interpreting results for both patients and practitioners.
  • Recommend fit and sell Earlens hearing solutions and air conduction systems tailored to patient needs.
  • Provide remote counseling and support on hearing loss device usage and best practices.
  • Maintain accurate and uptodate patient records in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
  • Assist with scheduling and coordinate with local and national resources to support patient needs.
  • Deliver exceptional patient care and proactive customer service aiming to minimize returns.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals and referral sources as needed.
  • Stay current with advancements in hearing technology and telehealth solutions.
  • Meet clinic productivity and quality standards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Audiology Hearing Science or a related field.
  • Valid state license to practice as a Hearing Instrument Specialist (North Carolina
  • M F 8am 5 pm
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in hearing instrument fitting and dispensing.
  • Experience with telehealth technology and remote patient care preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Commitment to patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to sit and stand for extended periods.
  • Proficiency in using a computer and telehealth technology.
