Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to lead our SAP Procure to Pay team. He or she will be responsible to drive the ownership and change management of all processes to align the business processes within the Procure to Pay framework. The successful candidate will ensure not only that the SAP modules that are in scope are implemented without customization but also systems are set up to monitor and control endtoend processes within the workstream of accountability. The successful candidate will develop and execute strategies to ensure the system aligns with and supports the objectives and requirements of the Procurement function and the broader CONMED organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and direct the SAP Procure to Pay team to ensure program deliverables are met.

  • Drive alignment on standard global Procure to Pay processes.

  • Serve as a central facilitator in driving the definition of functional requirements for the Procure to Pay team.

  • Lead the implementation of new best practice Procure to Pay processes aligned with the new SAP Design.

  • Ensure adoption of embedded system Procure to Pay processes to optimize value from SAP.

  • Coordinate with business/process leaders allocated to the project as well as technical teams to ensure a smooth implementation and transition to SAP Procure to Pay.

  • Drive required change and adoption of relevant best practices.

  • Serve as a central facilitator in driving the definition of Procure to Pay functional requirements.

  • Serve a primary liaison with the Procurement function to ensure successful implementation of SAP

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree from accredited college or university is

  • At least 7 years of experience in Procurement system module implementation and/or configuration.

  • 5 years experience in SAP Procurement system module implementations and/or configuration

  • Up to 50 travel

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) or advanced degree in Computer Science

  • More than 5 years in a Procure to Pay related discipline

  • Experience with SAP Ariba or similar Procurement tool

  • Deeper and broader experience with ERP e.g. SAP) implementations

  • Experience in SAP Procurement system module implementation and/or configuration

  • Experience in leading teams on largescale SAP programs and managing crossfunctional teams.

  • Professional certification such as PMP is highly desirable.

  • Experience in Medical Device Pharmaceutical or life science industry strongly preferred

  • Experience in leading teams on largescale programs and managing crossfunctional teams.

  • Excellent leadership communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong analytical problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities.

  • Experience in developing and implementing program governance frameworks and policies.
