Job Description
Our client with offices in South of Cedar Rapids Iowa is looking for a talented Manufacturing Application Engineer to join their team. The chosen candidate will gain experience working on exciting projects in the Aerospace Automotive and Building manufacturing space.
This role is a direct hire full time role with our multibillion dollar industry leader. What will you be doing
- Help manage our clients manufacturing application integrations with their other IT systems
- You will help ensures project solutions align with our clients compliance standards (Arconic SelfAssessment Tests ITAR DFARS SOX etc.
- Play an active role in support of our clients Compliance activities by performing annual system testing for adherence to IT System and SOX Audit requirements assists SOX audit teams and internal audit teams as required and performs Disaster Recovery testing as required.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Bachelors degree from an accredited institution.
- 5 years minimum experience in a similar role.
- Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
To be considered at the top of the list candidateswill possess:
- Previous COBOL experience
- Working knowledge of SQL PLSQL and some database query tools such as SQL Developer and/or SQL
- Any previous experience with VB C# Java or C development
This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. ITAR defines U.S. person as a U.S. citizen U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. Green Card Holder) Political Asylee or Refugee.
