Summer 2025 Engineering Internship NW GAPosition Overview

What youll be doing:
In our coop program students complete a series of rotational assignments alternating between semesters working at Shaw and taking classes with their university. As students advance in the program responsibilities increase and projects may be requested that match their skills and interests.
Industrial Engineering/Operations Management: Working on a variety of projects students offer new perspectives and ideas to improve both productivity and quality. Improvement recommendations often involve costs logistics and capital layouts.
Mechanical/Electrical Engineering: Students work alongside other mechanical and electrical engineers participating in or leading projects related to equipment upgrades new equipment installations and predictive maintenance.
Chemical Engineering: Ensuring the highest quality products students have the opportunity to work with dye lines laminating ranges extrusion processes chemical blending and quality testing.
Job Requirements:
Minimum GPA 2.5
Must have completed at least 3 or more semesters of college coursework
Must be a fulltime student and registered with your universitys coop or career services office
Obtaining a degree in Mechanical Electrical Industrial Operations Chemical or related engineering field.
