You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe Emergency Communications Center (ECC) Dispatcher position is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure workplace environment through the operation of the ECC. The ECC Dispatcher will monitor alarms CCTV and control systems while answering emergent and nonemergent calls for service with the expectation to provide the best most efficient customer support possible keeping in mind critical thinking and emergency prioritization of needs in a dynamic environment. The ECC Dispatcher is responsible for coordinating security and emergency responses and maintaining logs of calls for service. The Dispatchers core role is to promote a safe environment for patients visitors and hospital employees.
Supports and implements patient safety and other safety practices as appropriate. Supports and demonstrates Family Centered Care principles when interacting with patients and their families and with coworkers.
