Job Description
- Candidates in the local to Washington D.C. metropolitan area are preferred however other location will beconsidered.
- Commuting expenses will not be reimbursed.
- ALL Candidates MUST be a US Citizen or have Permanent Resident Status for at least 3 Consecutive Years.
- Work with ALC developers to convert legacy code from ALC to JAVA.
- Develop modernized code in JAVA
- Document existing logic
- Work in agile team to modernize existing systems.
Requirements
- Active IRS MBI clearance
- Bachelors Degree or above preferred. More experience is required for nondegreed candidates
- A minimum of 3 8* years collective developing applications in IBM Assembler Language
- Experience with Requirements definitions Development or Testing of the IRS Individual Master File or Business Master File
- Prior experience working on Agile teams.
- Excellent communication skills with client stakeholders at all organizational and technical levels
- Demonstrated ability to seek out information (proactive learning)
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a larger team
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent time management
- Ability to contribute to a highperforming motivated workgroup by applying interpersonal and collaboration skills to achieve project goal
