#TeamAAM is looking for a Supervisor Shipping/Receiving to join our Metal Forming organization on the 2nd shift. This position will be based out of our Royal Oak Manufacturing Facility in Royal Oak Michigan.As a Supervisor Shipping/Receiving one will coordinate and supervise the receipt verification and processing of incoming shipments as well as the packing and preparation of outgoing products. They will lead a team responsible for detailed shipment review condition assessment and accurate recordkeeping. They will also ensure all shipping/receiving activities align with established company and regulatory standards.

Job Description
Supervises shipping/receiving team members by selecting orienting training assigning scheduling mentoring and counseling individuals; communicating job expectations; planning monitoring and appraising contributions; adhering to policies and procedures.
Ensures adherence to inbound and outbound window times.
Records receipt of raw product by comparing count to bill of lading; notes receiving discrepancies and supports root cause analysis..
Supervises the loading/unloading of raw components and finished goods.
Supervises shot blasting and sorting operations.
Keeps shipping/receiving equipment operating by following operating instructions and established procedures; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.
Maintains safe secure and healthy receiving environment by adhering to organization standards and policies and to legal regulations; alerting others regarding potential concerns.
Provides shipping/receiving information by collecting analyzing and summarizing data and trends.
All other duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Education
High School Diploma or GED required.
35 years of relevant experience working in a manufacturing environment.
2 years experience supervising production staff preferred.
Automotive experience preferred.
Union experience preferred.
Availability and willingness to work any shift overtime and weekends as requested.
