IronMountain Solutions is seeking a SeniorLevel Aerospace Engineer to provide the Space and Missile Defense Center of Excellence (CoE) currently as it expands with professional engineering technical and programmatic assistance to support efforts in development of a NCRIADS Management and Integration Cell (MIC). Advisory and assistance services may include advisory assistance support in; vulnerability risk assessment and mitigation; project justification and defense; program planning; evaluation and analyses of programs projects budgets and performance; and project transition and commercialization. This also includes providing programmatic support in the development and preparation of acquisition and procurement documents. These services are comprehensively categorized as Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) support services. As such SETA support must expeditiously acquire the fundamental understanding of CoEs mission support to the National Capital Regions Integrated Air Defense systems overall and respective Management and Integration offices mission practices policies and procedures; and respond professionally and promptly to mission needs within a demanding challenging and evolving environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage the planning preparation and of MIC support to the annual Exercise Americas Shield (EAS) and annual Culminating Training Event (CTE).
- Provide mobile network and communications support to testing and training environments.
- Possess an indepth knowledge on the NCRIADS communications architecture as well as a deep understanding of the Avenger NASAMS and Sentinel configurations.
- Deep experience with communications and network support for annual Exercise Americas Shield (EAS) and annual Culminating Training Exercise (CTE).
- Experience with Deployable Integrated Air Defense System (DIADS) including annual technology demonstrations.
- Support live fire exercises for NASAMS and Avenger missile systems.
- Conduct cybersecurity tasks and update documentation as required to accredit missionpeculiar equipment within NCRIADS.
- Perform program analysis and provide program assistance for the weapon systems unique components and networks comprising NCRIADS.
- Assist in the preparation review and evaluation of program documentation for management and technical reviews.
- While performing the duties of this job the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use tools or controls; normal physical activity (reach with hands and arms; climb stairs); and communicate effectively with all levels of employees and leadership. The employee must occasionally lift or move office products and supplies up to 25 pounds.
Education and General experience:
- Experience equivalent to a Subject Matter Expert on NCRIADS systems components networks exercises demonstrations and live fire exercises.
- The candidate must have active Secret security clearance.
- The candidate must be willing to travel in support of business needs.
