Essence of the job:
With a strong reputation for excellence we are seeking a Building Estimator to join our dynamic Tender Department. This role is critical in securing new projects through accurate and competitive cost estimation while also contributing to business development initiatives.
Qualification:
Relevant Qualification in Quantity Surveying Construction Management or Civil Engineering.
Minimum Requirements:
Minimum of 10 15 Years of experience in building estimation within the construction industry with at least 3 years in a senior role.
Code 8 Drivers Licence essential Own Transport.
Extensive knowledge of SANS Forms of Contract (JBCC NEC) contracts and South African Construction Regulations.
Proficient in CCS Candy.
Experience in project scheduling and understanding of construction programming principles.
Strong ability to collaborate with project teams to ensure seamless transition from tender to .
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills; Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities; A proactive approach to identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
