Job Description
One of South Africas leading multidisciplinary engineering consulting companies is looking for a Resident Engineer to join their team!
Key Requirements:
- BEng BSc BTech Civil Engineering
- Advanced Knowledge of AutoCAD & Civil 3D
- Pr Eng will be advantageous
- 10 Years of Experience in SANRAL roads projects
- Must be a South African Citizen
- Must reside in Western Cape
- Must be willing to travel within the Western Cape
- Must be able to start 1 April
Responsibilities:
- Liaising with Clients as well as preparing contractual documents in conjunction with the client
- Knowledge of contract administration and coordination
- Experience in construction monitoring and civil engineering works
- Ability to review contractor drawings and ensure conformity with design requirements
- Issue site instructions to the contractor on behalf of the client
- Submit payment certificates to contractors
