Job Description
- Design build and implement complex multiregion network architecture
- Design scaleable continuous integration systems
- Provide highly scaleable hosting solutions in our microservice infrastructure & environment
- Build internal application and systems for our data platform team
- Build monitoring systems that can handle MILLIONS of users each day
- Create deployment processes to improve our engineering
- 5 years of Software Development or DevOps experience
- Proficient with Python programming & scripting
- Advanced Linux Systems experience
- Understanding of the OSI model
- Strong experience with Docker and Container Orchestration (Kubernetes ECS and/or Swarm)
- Experience with cloud automation tools like Terraform Cloudformation Templates or similar
- Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible CFEngine Puppet etc.
- Good knowledge of CI tools like Gitlab Jenkins Teamcity or similar tools
- Familiar with standard security practices such as encryption certificates and key management
- Working understanding of modern cloud architecture (Virtualization Databases message queueing etc.
- Advanced Amazon Web Services (AWS) knowledge (Databases in particular)
- Experience with Amazon Red Shift
- Experience working with Golang
- Experience building scalable high performance systems and services
