The Cardiac MRPET CT program performs worldwide clinical trials and collaborates with a hostof national and international institutions. The program has international stafffrom students to faculty including heart imagers and clinicians. The position providesopportunities to put a stamp on the program in areas such as labor environmentorganization accreditation of research staff and event organization. The Staff AssistantIII directly reports to the Director of the Cardiac MR PET CT Program. He/sheprovides additional administrative and operational support to other ProgramFaculty and staff.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
AdministrativeResponsibilities for the Director
Managethe Director of Cardiac MR PET CT Programs calendar including travel andmeetings
Maintainscredentialing documents and assist with general administrative and academic correspondence
Coordinatesgrant applications to NIH and industry and helps to foster relationships withindustry
Liaisonfor collaborations with national and international institutions for trainingprograms and research trials.
Organizesevents such as lectures courses research retreats and workshops.
Generaladministrative duties
Maintainsand expands standard operating procedures for all administrative aspects of theprogram that help to facilitate a positive and productive labor environment andcreates efficiencies between all aspects of the program.
Managesnational and international staff and faculty appointments
Responsiblefor financial transactions
Organizeand coordinate Cardiac MR PET CT Program staff functions and events includingscientific conferences and workshops

Exceptionalorganizational skills attention to detail understands the challenges ofcomplex administrative processes
