Location: Houston TX

Overview
Perform general accounting and financial reporting functions including recording journal entries performing account reconciliations preparing monthly and quarterly financial reports and assisting with audit preparations. The candidate must have a strong work ethic high standards of accuracy and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for general accounting functions including preparation of journal entries intercompany accounting account reconciliations and financial reporting.
- Ensures company financial statements are prepared in compliance with accounting policies US GAAP and other statutory or contractual reporting requirements.
- Ensures compliance with timelines for financial close and weekly and monthly management reporting and analysis.
- Assist with implementation and ongoing of new accounting standards.
- Assist with integration of acquired companies or business segments.
- Work closely with external auditors to ensure successful audit completion.
- Perform a variety of special projects
- And other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting is required.
- 3 years of experience in a multisegment or multinational organization.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP internal controls and financial reporting.
- Experience with an ERP software package
- High degree of proficiency with Excel.
- High standards of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Highlydriven and selfmotivated.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departmental functions.
Preferred Skills
- CPA eligible is preferred.
- NetSuite ERP experience is preferred.
- Experience with process improvement and automation preferred.

- Background Check: The successful candidate will need to successfully complete the following clearances: Criminal History Check Education Verification Employment Verification Drivers License Verification and passport/ID validation.
- Visa Sponsorship: Employment eligibility to work with Quorum Software in the United States is required as the company will not pursue visa sponsorship for this position. The successful candidate will be required to ensure they maintain and renew any visas or permits that grant employment eligibility where applicable.
