Your work environment at EXP
In this role you will be a part of theGuam team based in our office in Guam a U.S. Territory focusing on the Pacific region.
What a day at EXP has in store for you
- Ensures construction adheres to construction specifications.
- Reads interprets and deciphers all construction documents (schedules specifications blueprints schematics diagrams etc. Provides technical assistance and interpretation of drawings recommending construction methods and equipment as required.
- Logs references distributes and files all related correspondence drawings and documents. Plans coordinates and supervises onsite functions (scheduling material control and daytoday direction of onsite administrative staff when assigned).
- Ensures all project staff and subcontractors employed to execute engineeringconstruction tasks conform to applicable work rules and SOPs for security safety environmental controls Quality hazardous materials and underground utilities.
- Takes subcontractors to site locations for visit to assist in the bidding process and answer questions pertaining to the Scope of Work .
What your experience looks like
- BS degree in Construction Management
- 5 years of relevant Construction Management experience
- Federal Project experience is a plus
- Excellent verbal written and interpersonal skills
- Strong sense of urgency and selfinitiative to meet client deadlines
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deliverables simultaneously
- High level of proficiency in Autodesk software including AutoCAD and CADD
