Job Description
Hire Resolves client in Durban is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Construction Manager to join their team. As the Senior Construction Manager you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of construction projects ensuring they are completed on time within budget and to the clients satisfaction in the Civil Road Construction industry
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee all phases of construction projects from initial planning to final completion.
- Coordinate and communicate with subcontractors suppliers and other project stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain project schedules ensuring all work is completed on time.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable building codes regulations and permits.
- Oversee the selection and hiring of subcontractors and vendors.
- Monitor and control project budgets expenses and cost projections.
- Coordinate and lead regular project meetings to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Provide leadership and guidance to project teams ensuring quality workmanship and safety.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Construction Management or related field.
- Minimum of 810 years experience in construction management with a focus on Civil Road Construction
- Demonstrated experience managing largescale construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods materials and equipment.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with a diverse range of project stakeholders.
- Excellent problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
