Qualificationsand Experience
Education/Degree
Required
BachelorsDegree required and must be a currently licensed RN in MA.
Preferred
MastersDegree in scientific field related to the labs aims and methods ofinvestigation is preferred.
Skills
Required
Understandingof biostatistics and research methods.
Knowledgeof database management.
Computerproficiency required. Microsoft officeapplications preferred with ability to learn new software.
Preferred
Highlydeveloped communications and interpersonal skills working with diversepopulation.
Workindependently be selfdirected and contribute as a member of a team.
Anticipateschallenges and develops and implements strategies for addressing them.
High level of service delivery.Demonstrate initiative with ability to prioritize work meet deadlines andadapt to changing situations.

Summary
Coordinate and assist with oversight of researchlab activities such as multiple project coordination primary data collectiondata management fiscal management and compliance with institutional guidelinesfor appropriate conduct of research.
Responsibilities
Studies are designed and conducted to meetestablished lab and study aims.
Achievement of study recruitment goals.
Data collection and management is completed perestablished guidelines.
Facilitation of statistical analysis with guidanceof senior investigators.
Assistance and support is provided with the designof new projects.
Scientific writing assistance is provided perestablished guidelines.
Coordination and oversight of research assistantsto meet established performance expectations.
Submissions and other reports comply withcontractual and institutional standards.
Work practices comply with regulatory obligationsincluding conduct of human and/or animal research.
Supplies are maintained to achieve the aims of thelab.
Lab environment is maintained in accordance withsafety standards.
Collaboration within PHS and with outsideinstitutions is provided to achieve the labs aims.
Collaborate with Human Resources to coordinateresearch administration and staff.
Budgets are monitored to achieve financial goals.
