Qualifications:
- Education:Completion of an accredited medical assisting program.
- Licensure:Active certification (CMA RMA or equivalent).
- Experience:Entrylevel candidates welcome; prior clinical experience is a plus.
- Technical Skills:Proficiency in EHR systems medical terminology and basic laboratory procedures.
- Soft Skills:Strong communication empathy organizational skills and adaptability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify patient information and record medical histories.
- Take vital signs and prepare patients for examinations.
- Assist physicians with medical procedures and minor surgeries.
- Perform basic lab tests and administer medications as directed.
- Schedule appointments and maintain accurate electronic health records.
- Educate patients on treatment plans and preventive care.
