Job Responsibilities

  • Conduct flawless onsite installations ensuring systems are in efficient working order.
  • Complete scheduled maintenance visits strictly adhering to quality standards.
  • Provide expert repair support swiftly resolving customer issues.
  • Cultivate positive relationships with customers and team members encouraging inclusion and collaboration.
  • Successfully complete technical training programs improving your skills.
  • Travel often on short notice to address and determine solutions to complex challenges.
  • Submit detailed field service reports offering valuable feedback to improve product quality.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on assigned tools ensuring reliability.
  • Partner with colleagues for technical mentorship driving problemsolving initiatives.
  • Deliver training sessions to empower customers in system maintenance.
  • Act as a proven subject authority contributing to documentation updates and system improvement reports.

Minimum Qualifications

  • University degree or equivalent experience in electronic systems highly preferred.
  • Approximately 5 years of handson technical experience with sophisticated analysis tools.
  • Extensive experience with ultrahigh vacuum and high voltage systems.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with customers demonstrating excellent communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS DOS and Windows software environments with the ability to interpret schematics.
  • Familiarity with UHV technology and phenomenon.
  • Valid passport and drivers license with willingness to travel internationally.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Eligibility for entrance to US Government labs and facilities if necessary.
